As far as I'm concerned classic yachts like Mariquita and Tuiga charging around under full sail are some of the most photogenic things I can point my camera at...

The inaugural Westward Cup, hosted by the Royal Yacht Squadron in association with the New York Yacht Club and Yacht Club de Monaco has produced some stunning racing in the Solent this week. Tuiga took the series with three wins out of four races with Mariquita in second. Chasing these boats to photograph them has been a real pleasure.
