This blog is a chance for us to share with the world the other side of the lens, and will hopefully be an entertaining insight into the world of marine photography and video.

Pendennis Cup

The week started with some pretty awful weather, the clouds felt like they water at about mast height, and up at the windward mark on Tuesdays racing we had a big swell and poor vis to deal with, but when Adela loomed out of the gloom to round the mark and bear away it was a sight to behold. From there we had a mixed bag of conditions, with some bright and breezy patches throughout the week and some grey, calm moments too. I was lucky enough to get the chance to sail and shoot onboard Mariquita, and spent a lot of my time trying not to get swept away down to leeward. Bring on the next cup in 2012...
